David Reid (whom you all know) shot me an e-mail just now, about Sequel, an alternative OS project.

Click below to read what he had to say... "As the nights start to draw in again the Sequel team has returned to working on the sequel kernel. Recent work has seen the much of the internal code being rewritten to reduce the complexity while improving the speed and maintainability.

Sequel's kernel started life x86 specific, but within the Sequel team there is a strong desire to support other platforms. This has led to recent work being done to alter the kernel architecture to permit multi-platform support to be a possibility. While at an early stage much progress has already been made."

Sequel is still in it's early stages and they've been quiet, but that doesn't mean they've been lazying around. So stay tuned as we bring you more updates, as they happen.
