As this is a great resource for BeOS users, the people behind BeDrivers have mirrored the site with static pages. They are also endeavouring to get the actual data.

Bernd Korz, yellowTAB's CVO, said that "There's so much interest in Zeta and yellowTAB at the moment that I could be in 20 different places around the world at once at the moment and still not talk to everyone. CeBIT gives us the chance not only to present Zeta and Zintr0 to new customers but also to meet and discuss with our partners."
CeBIT is the world's largest IT and telecommunications fair and is held in Hannover, Germany from 18th - 24th March. For more details and how to get there see the CeBIT homepage.
Visit yellowTAB in Hall 11, Stand E14.
For all those that want to know more about Zeta or more about the yellowTAB team there's another TV show coming up soon: CEO Torsten Linde and CVO Bernd Korz will yet again appear live on NBC Giga TV the 8th and 9th March. The German language programme is available on cable and satellite throughout Europe and on the internet.

For those following his posts over at his site, you know he's been struggling with Carpal Tunnel Syndrome (a part of a group of typing injuries known as RSI - Repetitive Strain Injuries), a serious (and growing) problem which affects many computer users. His problem has been getting worst and worst and now the time has come for him to put aside everything computer related.

The new version has, along with several bug fixes, an improved Deskbar replicant (you can now select status for each protocol and display them), and support for the AIM protocol (Messaging, receiving, online / away / offline notifications). Other changes are:
- The client can now handle dropped People files and prints their details into the message (name, email, IM connections)
- Automatically creates contacts when asked for authorization.
- Contacts are queried for, over all drives.
- "Action buttons" have been added to the client.
This wasn't the only instant messenger that got updated today though, as also BeMSN v1.5 got released (both for the net_server and for bone).

The community gathering will, as always, be held in a youth hostel in D?sseldorf, Germany. For all of you that wants to attend, please register as soon as possible.
I was there last year, and can only say that it was a great oportunity to meet your friends from various BeOS channels on IRC and from BeShare. And as always, you will get the chance to see the latest development from various developers, including yellowTAB.
If you don't live in Germany and want to attend BeGeistert, I would recommend that you consider travelling with the German low budget airline company Germanwings. They are flying from destinations all over Europe to Cologne / Bonn.
Sadly I will not be there this time, but I hope you will!

It's an interesting idea and the best thing about this challenge is, Vassilis will pay 100 Euros to the first one to come up with a usable app. That's around $127USD. So if you think you have the skills, start your coding engines! But beware, Daniele Protti, the author of the excelent BePC-Info is already adding this hability to his app, even extending it somewhat.
